Hi...You can call me 'Hoops'. I'm building a Blog for the ladies at Garden Spa because I can't think of a better way to thank them for all they've done to keep me upright and surgery-free.
I have been a big fan of 'traditional Asian Massage' (yes...back-walking) for a number of years, and find that Bonnie & Linda are the absolute BEST in Chicago. Hand's down! Feet down, too!
They've helped me keep my bulging T4-T5 under control, as well as a bum left knee flexible for over two years now...and at only $70/hr. for 'the works' (Dry sauna, shower, and 35-40 minutes left for the massage), you can't go wrong.
I'm not made of money, but when I can, I've been known to tip them 100% out of gratitude. They've earned every penny in my opinion.
Mind you...there are a number of 'other' massage places along the Ogden Avenue corridor, but Garden is NOT to be lumped in with those at all. Their shop is always sparkling clean (including the shower, sauna, and washrooms). The rooms are private and secure. They are always very friendly and professional. Nothing is forced, so if you 'can't stand the feet...' well, it's no problem at all. (AND they've been teaching me Korean just for giggles!)
The only thing I wish they had was a 'couple massage' space so my wife and I could be in the same room together, but that's certainly not a big problem at all.
So, what are you waiting for? $70/hr. No appointment necessary. Open from 9a - 11p (most nights). Sat & Sun. And those FEET!!! Incredible!
